At 60 pages, the upcoming January issue will be the biggest yet, reflecting the magazine's excellent health as it approaches its 50th anniversary in 2013.
 
Founded in 1963, C&CR is the respected professional journal of the Headmasters’ & Headmistresses’ Conference (HMC) schools. It contains authoritative editorials of interest to all those who create and maintain the high standards associated with independent schools. This magazine is read by heads, bursars and the key teaching staff of these schools.

The HMC represents the heads of 260 leading independent schools in the UK which aim to provide excellence in education. Schools whose heads are members of HMC are renowned worldwide and are at the forefront of educational excellence.
 
The magazine is published three times a year, at the start of each school term, in September, January and April.
